In a vertical market company. None of our leadership knew who was getting laid off and when. Absolute miss. So many good and critical people let go.

Absolutely tracks when you consider they don’t care about vertical market performance. They care about “optimizing the whatever buzz word” and money. Profits over people.
Ryan Loy said in an interview his previous company liked to use Fiverr 🤣 guess we will see how that works out for him after everything breaks down!
Lost a few and now seeing what the implication of losing key members of how if possible to retain some. I’ve got was to reach out to your business unit leader for discussion and consideration.
Were they that clueless? Just didn't care? Didn't trust senior leadership?
Speaking with my manager today about the implications of this for our team, dept., and org. Initiatives like the push for the infosec/operations merger mean nothing when the top acts so callously. How much more out of touch can executives be? The limit is looking awfully close at hand.
Agreed, multiple functions are now crippled. Seems the more senior members were targeted. Expect a lot of things randomly breaking
Agree. Some critical platforms lost good people. People who know the systems very well and have valuable input. I'm guessing "if this goes down, we don't care what happens" was worth less than the money saved.
