Did modem team had layoffs the last year? Modem is an ultra premium core team and some mid title employees had received 4 or 5 retention stock offers worth more than million usd in value between 2018 to 2023. A picnic is nothing compared to per employee multi million dollars worth of retention packages on top of annual bonus and rsu bonanzas. The modem team has earned the right of enjoying picnics costing 6 digits every month. Rather they should be weighed in the gold and rewarded the gold. All non-core teams are full of su-kers.
