I'd be happy to take a package and leave. I got a new manager six months ago and he is the definition of a bully. I've been looking for a new job anyhow, getting severance would have been amazing. I wish they first asked everybody to volunteer but I guess that's not realistic.

You can if you word it correctly and your leader supports it. I may know that it happened at a vertical a couple times. I survived this purge but looking my exit plan
I asked my manager if I could volunteer months ago and he never got back to me on that. I don't think it was an option.
You can't volunteer.
