Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

Anything on NEX?

They just pushed back their open forum until after the BoD meeting mid September. Pretty ominous I gotta say...

Ethernet should never have been in NEX. The Ethernet division wasn't about networking, it was about server connectivity and should have stayed in the Data Center. IPU was a major sinkhole along with Barefoot. It brought in the VP bloat.

Most of the incompetent losers have already left NEX. Most of the problems are at the top, execs making product decisions that go against the business unit experts… execs chasing rainbows and CEO titles at other companies

I wouldn't be surprised if this were true. Intel lost the data center Ethernet race a long time.

A word of warning to potential employers, this BU is full of incompetent losers that will soon be looking for a job.

So instead of packages, some may get jobs and others may get the shaft by Alpha? Curious how this will work for those bought out.

NEX is being sold to Alpha. The sticking point is Alpha wants under 5% of the staff.
