I got laid off after 20 years by a 3 minute phone call from a low level manager.
I was one of the chosen. 26 weeks pay; last day 9/27. Benefits stop then.

BSDG layoffs took place at 1:00 ET. Last day is Sept 26, with access to Gsuite removed immediately. An individual can apply for other open positions and there is a possibility of rehire based on the severance agreement. 2 weeks of pay for each year of service. It is not mandatory to sign the offer. Legal action can be taken if you are affected and have evidence of any wrongdoing or targeted termination.
Confirmed. These are layoffs. Today is the last day. Also medical benefits end EOD. Severance package is pay till end of August only.

Heard from a HR friend, there will be more layoffs to come by the end of the year sadly.
