Who is in this meeting and any idea on what it’s about?

It was reported today that 4%, ~ 1,100 people were part of last weeks lay-offs
I worked at TSYS, for 14 years, back when it actually cared about its employees. Then it became Global Payments and had a massive layoff. Unfortunately, I was a part of that layoff.
Sad when a company gets rid of the people that were responsible for making them a successful company.
Upper management is a joke and only took care of their buddies.
Jody Andrews, in particular, is a sorry POS. Gets rid of someone only to backfill that position with 2 of his best friends.
I was impacted today. I had only been working here 2 months and my position was eliminated.
Bready said the impacts would be announced all week until Friday if I heard correctly at the tail end of the all hands.
Shucks, I am sure after another increase of fees on the districts they are cutting back only the necessary fat and most definitely not doing so to increase c-level exec payouts...
if there's ANY justice in this world they let Jen Gebhardt and Raj Birbal go. the worst leaders I've ever worked for and i worked in fast food
This is a terrible company. Jeff Sloan is a total id--t.!!!
- Ready is just as bad. The stock is in the dead zone. The board of directors should all be dismissed.!!!
I was on a group call at 11, layoff meeting. Read from a script, long awkward pauses. I would have rather read the script myself, embarrassing how they handled it. I dropped halfway through and figured they’d send me my package regardless. Systems deactivated a couple hours later.
It was to tell the “survivors” that layoffs happened and whom was on that call would be part of a reorganization-which includes moving several to an individual contributor role (demotion). There was no real empathy. One person asked the question of “how can we trust you after this?” The answer was “with transparency, honesty and feedback.” So many lives were impacted by this and there’s no commitment from the company to protect its loyal employees.
Now we know
This meeting was not a layoff meeting. Btw.
Meetings today from senior leaders appear to be termination of employment notification from what’s being shared by those who were on earlier sessions. Cameron said today that notification of role changes for N.A. are tomorrow and Wednesday.
I did not get any invite no 11, no 12:30, no 4pm... I hope they've forgotten I am around ..
Don't want to dash hopes for anyone, but if you have any calls today that weren't previously scheduled it's more than likely a layoff call. Saying it's for those who cleared layoffs is either coping, or you definitively know what it's about. This company doesn't hold good mass meetings calls anymore, and hasn't for a very long time.
i know people from both TSYS and Global on the 4pm. i also don't have it and hope it's because i'm getting a new role in a different dept. wishful thinking, i guess.
I’m TSYS issuing under Dondi, I also do not have a 4pm. I didn’t get the 11 or 1230 meetings either. Just sitting here waiting…
Im TSys, issuing. I do not have a 4PM meeting invite. Does that mean I did not survive?
Is the meeting on the global payments side or the tsys side or both? I don’t have a 4pm. :(
laurent call is probably only for operations survivors.
Yeah I have heard it is for people who made it through the cuts.
4pm call has been on the calendar all day. from laurent. assuming it's for the people who make it through the cuts.
I’m sorry to say this, but from what I’ve heard these meetings are group layoffs.
can you see the other invitees? if you cant that is not a good sign
Who invited ? Department? Location?
No idea, who is it from? Laurent Bossard? I heard he’s the one doing the meetings. No evidence
