Thread regarding Global Payments Inc. layoffs

Good folks got let go

It's awful how the company treats the very people who helped build it from the ground up. Many VPs and Senior VPs, including diligent and hardworking individuals, are being let go specially from Tsys issuing

Work more with less is here. Meeting after meeting after meeting. Calls scheduled before hours and after hours. Don’t forget to do your day job on top of it all. Work life balance out the window and never to return.

Anyone hear that Global is making another cut tomorrow?
Yes. Let us train those folks in manilla so those same folks can take our jobs. Wonder if there is a Chamber of Commerce award for that Indiana.
Looks like another DEI company has turned to absolute sh-t in the last 4 years. Eager to see how American clients like talking to and relying on foreigners for problem solving. Not to mention sales.
Never ever forget... What comes around goes around...

Eliminating bureaucracy has never been a priority at Global from what I observed. So many overpaid, lazy and low skilled people in positions they have no business in and making way too much money. The most of their fat is at the too

Stupid Companies run the Good people out!!

I used to know Cori Hembree, she was top Talent. And promoted up to Director Level, she "had the chops" to lead a department.

For @2tqe+1ucNDskL :

Are there any more details about the Finance / Accounting side of things? That's where I was until I got got, but I hadn't heard any news about anyone else over there. I'm completely blind on this, was just curious the total impact.

I left heartland a year ago and have never been happier! The stress, lies and unprofessionalism is off the charts! Fellow heartlandanders- ISO's are not the bad guys- don't be afraid of them. Chose one that fits your selling needs - it will be the best decision you've made while being at heartland.

The mergers weren’t the problem. The leadership (that’s you, Vince) was the problem. Lack of building or shoring up infrastructure, failure to make these units cohesive, Adam (let’s just get to the finish line) Mitchell being in charge of software and programs, Mike Brodnick being a CSO who hated salespeople and all his koolaid drinking cronies was the problem. Cameron, you needed to pay a bit more attention to your bickering children too. Letting TSYS effectively get dissolved when the programs, vendor relationship, etc. were always stronger than Heartland’s…shame. #dumpsterfire #getoutnow

Risk and compliance were impacted. ETL was impacted.

The next few days will be tough with unnecessary team reshuffling based on an outsider's poll. Executives push "new" ideas just to leave after their stock period ends!

To the person who commented TSYS was much better before the merger, a lot of the Heartland folks would also agree with you! Seems like Global was the disease all along

Very curious on the thought process that went into this. I am a equal surprised by the individuals (or teams) that survived this round with all the emphasis on efficiency and eliminating bureaucracy

Yeah, I am wondering what teams exactly? I guess there is more to come with the re-org. Luckily I survived this round, but I am curious what that means for those of us still here.
What's this "new" structure going to look like... or is just going to be missing some key people and have their workload dumped on others?? I will admit there are so many levels of "leadership" around the place... Teams that have manager, senior manager, director, senior director... That could use some refining in terms of how people are "promoted" meaning that just because you reach a senior position does not mean you have to take up some role in management next and become just another level of "leader"... Anyway, more work with fewer people sounds A W E S O M E!!!! Lets go GP2025
