Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

So which is it?

"All VSP applications will be accepted" vs. "90% of VSP applications will be rejected"

September 6-10 can't come soon enough.

@3iqr - I highly doubt this is accurate. They’re letting ALL early retirees walk. All of them.

Word today is VSP will be blocked for 90% and ER in some cases will be blocked about 40% of them - Board is split at EL level on how deep to cut so that means another blunder and leaving all the chaff safe while talent goes out the door

Who said 90% of VSP applications will be rejected? I highly doubt it, from what I'm hearing any denial requires very strong justification and VP approval.

ERP's were always automatic.
VSP's are not, but are assumed to be approved unless a specific business need.
Sept update, definitely in one specific group - I suspect others as well as to hit the Nov. date for ISP exits.

Party on, dudes!

Now we wait till Nov end for remaining ISP in BUs !
Dark storms ahead mates ! Watch your backs at all times !
2024-2026 will be some down and out skid row times in many BUs as we recovery from this ELT mess !
If they ISP us, too bad so sad for INTC ! It is not our fault ! My teams all have fab wide busted Azz in there daily !

I'm a manager... communications just came out. Enhanced Retirement requests are pretty much automatic. VSP requests will be approved in the general case, but I wouldn't personally have line of sight to which teams or functions may not fall into that general case.
