Why are people at this company so obsessed with continuing to work here? Read the room, read the writing on the wall, read whatever but get a clue. This company is failing across all areas and it is not coming back. Protect yourself and your family by starting to actively find a new job. Even if you survive ISP there will be more actions taken in the future. Get out as soon as you can. You can come to this site after you are safe and b-tch about who caused the downfall. Just get out as soon as possible.

USA labor force cost is way to high compared to low and no pay slave labor in other countries ! Remember this, 50% world countries are living under a dictatorship !
USA is over inflated with cost across all economic sectors !
One thing in life is certain ! Death and Taxes !
Keep your Integrity if a bad mouthed management head count hunting team comes after you in the ISP rounds of 2024-2026 ! Safety Safety Safety and Keep a Job Journal !
Management will hunt in wolf packs !

Most people at Intel DESERVE a paycut. Especially managers.

The people who survive ISP will probably get a 15% pay cut in 2025.

I think if Intel was to ask employees 15% cut or fired, almost everyone will take the 15% cut.

Lot's to consider: family/children/spouse, ease of finding another role at another company in your location or remotely, forced retirement, lack of opportunities, bad morale and toxic environment . . .

No, I'd rather get fired and be done with it. Realistically my total compensation is already way over 15% less than normal due to poor bonuses and stock grants under-performing.

I genuinely wouldn't mind being ISPed (wasn't eligible for voluntary CPM...). It's the axe hanging over us all that's the exhausting bit.

if I absolutely knew I would be ISP'd, then yes. then take the time to look for a new job.
One truth on one seems to want to accept - it usually takes a job to get a job.

I’ve thought through this quite a bit… the ship is sinking, taking a 15% cut means you’ll get all of the operational workload burden from those who have already left, say 15%, and get to do it for 85% of the pay… all while the BOD/ELT figure out the timing on the next round of cuts.

I say this as someone who thought they’d retire with INTC… it’s a sad demise…

You are missing the point. This won’t be the last round of cuts. They need people permanently off the books.
