Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

I volunteered

Can’t be happier. I don’t see any future for Intel. Been here for a while, witnessed all the bad decisions and moves, seen many competent people booted and replaced by cheap workforce abroad - quality just isn’t the same, and most importantly I see no plan on how to dig Intel out of the hole. I’m not waiting to see how it will all come crashing down.

Same I left last year..best decision ever. You are getting out before the flood. There are many smaller companies that treat employees like an asset rather than always finding a way to get you on a CAP. Intel is very internally sick. It will take much more than a new CEO to fix.

Same. Only I left last month. I feel like you do, and I would have continued there but it’s just a dumpster fire now. I don’t want to ride it over the cliff. I shall watch from afar.
