I'm assuming those on work visa will not be laid off and they will find jobs within Intel with the help from HR placing them and managers having to hire them even if they are not qualified for the job and job training will happen. The main reason is so that the greencard filings don't get denied for all those application that are currently being processed and future green card applications for the next four years.

I am expecting if H1Bs are not affected first and last before any citizen then congress will start hearings. This IS a big deal because of the CHIPS ACT. This is prohibited. Time for Pat to attend hearings....
