I find it incredibly sad that thousands of people have been forced to check regularly with this website as they stay in a state of anxiety and can’t get info from the actual source. The fact this company lacks any transparency , controls people’s financial wellbeing , future careers and cause this state of fear is a damn pity. One could define this as terrorism, albeit an ambiguous definition…. But it feels like there is something criminal at the heart of it all
I just hate how they drag this out. We keep being told that no one knows what’s going on yet, but we know that’s not true. It’s very demoralizing to be treated like expendable fools.
How do I see if I’m being laid off via secure?
Our ICT meeting is still on the calendar but I suspect it will be changed. Originally the meeting was for 25 min then it changed last week to the usual time.
Our weekly ICT meeting was mysteriously just cancelled for 10/17. Anyone else? Making room for a huge announcement? Curious if other markets got this randomly today.
On Thurs. April 18th we all received an email at 8:30am. A Re-organization announcement. It was about 5minutes in length with Tanyia not making eye contact while she told us all that our jobs had been eliminated. No rhyme no reason just that our positions were eliminated. Then asked for our personal email addresses to send out severance information. Done.
I was in the July RIF, and that's exactly how it went. I thought by end of day Wednesday that if I didn't have an e-mail for Thursday morning meeting that I was all set. It arrived after hours Wednesday. So sneaky. Something to consider is that you may be able to "redeploy" into another department after RIF, which I what I ended up doing rather than take severance. During the layoffs in July, people received an email after hours notifying them of a 15 minute meeting on Thursday morning.
Anyone know how someone could find out if they are being riffed? I thought at one point, it was mentioned that you could look on secure.com?
The invite I just received for a 10/22 All Staff meeting with the CFO makes me think RIFs are coming Thursday. Any information would be appreciated!
