@oge+ Had my call today. I was not impacted, but the person I consider to be one of the best performers on my team, if not the best, was. Another on my team who is newer (joined 1 year ago) was also not impacted.

I pried as to the logic behind who stays and leaves, but of course he was not able to give me any info whatsoever, beyond “intel is selecting individuals who are best positioned to execute on its strategic vision.”

Honestly I think its combination of grade and some kind of skills assessment, but clearly not “who’s the best of the best”. More “who are the best fits to slot into roles that help us achieve IFS at the best price possible.” If you’re flexible with what work you’re willing to do and aren’t a “victim” of grade inflation, you may be safe? Speculation on my part though.
