Thread regarding NCR Corp. layoffs

Do Layoffs have any affect on stock price?

Since the start of 2024, Voyix stock is down over 20%, whereas Atleos stock is up 20% YTD. I wonder how many staff has been reduced with each company?

@dza+1uZa7ust NCR is supposed to report planned layoffs to the state. They very conveniently lay off in phases or just under the required numbers so they don't have to report it. When I was really into this I checked the site and if you review the records NCR has never had a layoff. We all know what a pile of SP-T this company is so nothing should surprise you. The idea is to get out as soon as possible and on your timing so you can have a real career somewhere else.

The shareholders don’t care as long as their stock goes up.

Layoffs are never reported by either company public or internal. In fact when I was layed off, HR told me not to have any contact with any NCR employees. I said these were people and friends I knew for decades and you think you can tell me who I can talk to? I said, I no longer work for NCR, how can you even say that?

People may hear about their territory, but regionally and globally it’s very difficult to know the real numbers about layoffs or manufacturings closures or any other job losses

It was really unbelievable.
