The ever-worsening Boeing situation has taken a turn for the worse. Despite the initial hope that the company would be able to reach a deal with the striking workers, Boeing is being forced to consider mass layoffs. In a memo to employees, CEO Kelly Ortberg announced that Boeing was looking at 17,000 job cuts that were necessary for the company “to align with [their] financial reality.”

What kind example does it show when Boeing pays the former CEO Dave Calhoun the sum of $33 million? The money is reserved for the Boeing execs and not for the rank and file?

It's only 5% as they already have a 5% natural attrition rate as it is. So 5% + 5% = 10%. Probably get most of that from some type of buyouts. Or people that want to leave anyways. Wash rinse repeat. It's a shell game.

Boeing is offering a 30% pay rise based on a 2008 wage, a pay cut in real terms. Ever considered that?
Glad I left Boeing for SpaceX nearly 10 years ago. And my friend left Boeing for Airbus about the same time. Life is about making the right choices that will positively affect your future. Not letting your greed, hate or fear emotions dictate your actions that will eventually negatively affect your future.

This is just the start- it’s going to be a domino effect of falling for this company. Boeing is corrupt company that approved pay out to CEO of 33 million who ran the company into ground and is still on the board of directors- make that make sense! Boeing will either go under or be sold off piece by piece…. Boeing is unfortunately a has been and won’t ever be what it was-
