How early do they send those invites? Are they still called "Business Update"? My manager doesn't seem concerned, which has me worried.

Well, the leaders with a pair should have been giving their folks the heads up by now. The meeting invites to be notified will be going out this week (Thurs & Fri) to ruin your weekend.
Many people were notified all last week
Back in August, I got my invite over the weekend before the 8/9 and yes, was titled "Business Update"
I’ve seen a Sunday morning invite for a Monday morning layoff
Starts on the 14th.
Ours is tomorrow, I’m in the US. I got mine late last week and am expecting to be notified tomorrow, Monday Oct 14.
If it happens, you will probably be notified the day before.
