To both those who want to keep their job and those who want to leave. I’m personally hoping not to be laid off, but I accepted the possibility I may be let go. At this point I can’t do much about either. I’ve been trying to stay up to date and have a marketable skill set. I just hope it will all be over soon, so we can all adjust fast to new realities.

Make sure you emphasis that you were a great backstabber and idea stealer while falling forward up he grade ranks at Intel.
Many of the nasty folks have survived under this rule.
Unless you are applying for jobs in the semi industry no one will really know or care about what is going on at Intel. I learned this in 2016. I took the early retirement and was expecting to have to explain my time at Intel since the market was flooded with ex-Intel applicants. Few asked and no one cared. It is a tough job market and there are a lot of jobs posted where no one will get hired. Just keep applying you will find something. It could take a while in this market. This is a bad time of year to start looking too.
It is now most definitely a red flag on your resume. Once prestigious but now the scarlet letter. Su-ks.
Intel is a joke, probably best to remove it from your resume and lie that you've been homeless reading library books instead.
Best of luck to all in these tough times.
