Do any of your stores have a process for getting Macy's money for the non-selling team? Meaning dock, fulfillment,...basically anyone who's not a selling colleague

If you have AP in your store, support can get a lot of Macy's Money for calling 7911. You tend to be on the floor but away from the register so you may see a lot more than the sales team. Ask your AP team what to look for if you aren't noticing suspicious behavior.
Support is a thankless job
I just want to know if you are a sales person do you want to work the truck and process freight in the dock???? Ok, well stop saying that support needs work the register and get credit.
@2ukj. 11% success rate? That's nothing to brag about. When I was at Sears that was considered failure. Fortunately I'm now in store support and don't ring so I don't have to be concerned with credit which is a huge driver in retail.
I can tell you 90,% of the people who work the truck are in no way interested in running a register. We don't even train new hires in back of house to ring any longer as it's a waste of time. We ask each one if they want to and all say no. We will schedule them to help recover on key days but no register. Had several existing associates tell me if they were required to be on a register they would quit.
Our store manager just gave out Macy's Money to the support team for stepping up to cover while our SMM is flying to LA to help a store get ready for a visit from the Board of Directors. Our store is getting slammed with trucks and the support team people who used to be called merchandise supervisors or managers (can't remember), all got Macy's money for signing up to work extra hours while our SMM is spending the week in LA. If you have a cool store manager who understands the contributions that the support team makes to the store, they can give out Macy's money if they want to.
Supervisor functions t6 option 56 award or replace Macy’s money thank you
To the poster below. It's not that easy to open credits. It sounds like you are a generalist. A receiver will never have the time to spend on a register long enough to open very many. An 11% success rate is considered good, so that is a lot of transactions including existing cardholders to get to that number. It's not their fault they don't get Macy money, it's the fault of management for not recognizing the hard work of associates. There are other options in the register menu to award Macy Money (you were never a manager so you wouldn't know that). They just don't want to use them.
ALL employees are supposed to know how to ring register. That means they can open CREDITS TOO. I work at the register, clean out fitting rooms, do markdowns, pull plastic and put out merchandise too. Open credits if you want MACYS MONEY like everyone else does its you fault if you don't
Lp....
When I was a manager I would always give our support staff Macy’s money!
I wish. My store only recognizes the top seller and top credit opener. The sales colleagues are the only ones getting macys money. Receiving, fullifullment and merchants get nothing except headaches.
