I bring pure joy to my family. I just wish this soap opera was over already.

I have seen too many people just coasting and not be responsible for anything outside of their day job. It's amazing to see lack of drive. In the end these will survive and continue to do the bare minimum and we wonder why we have such poor products
Intel employees got too comfortable. Unless you worked at Intel longer than 24 years, you probably never experienced a huge downturn like this. In fact, you probably never had to worry much about a paycheck as long as you thew your co-workers under the bus, told management you were saving money, and laughed at all the cr-ppy jokes your boss made that were not funny. Now you know what most worker experience in this country, constantly searching for a backup plan because you are the target and blame for the company's failure. Use this weekend to make a backup plan for the first time in your life. Your friends and family will think you're crazy because they probably can't believe Pat is this incompetent to destroy Intel so completely and will also blame you for not working hard enough. Just plan for getting laid off and you'll be ok. Worst case, find a food bank, unemployment office, and get food stamps like half the people in your town will be doing in a few weeks.

Let the demons that control your mind be gone and su-k it up and do life... because that is all this is.
Enjoy it. This will be the last “normal” weekend for a lot of families. So savior it. Many families will loose their homes or been torn apart from this. So stop and be thankful for this fleeting moment as you may never have it again
