Thread regarding Truist Bank layoffs

Truist’s toxic work culture

The thing that gets me the most is there's pretty much nothing we can do about it. Every single day we have to deal with intimidation, verbal abuse, outright lying and so much more. They seem to think they can treat us however they want without facing any consequences, and it’s pretty clear they don't respect any of us. There’s a lot wrong with Truist these days, but this lack of respect takes the cake.

Agreed. Just go to Glassdoor.com and look at the “Recommend to a friend” and “Approve of CEO” ratings. Both are below 50%. Reputable companies with optimal work cultures score much higher on these metrics. The proof is in the pudding, Truist has a cr-ppy work culture and treats their employees like dirt

The issue is Bill and Beau are total douchebags, so that’s the culture. Unless they leave this is the culture.
