Thread regarding Truist Bank layoffs

Want a 100% WFH job at a bank? Even at Truist? Just need to be one of Chris Ward/Noe's buddies from WF!

Chris Ward & pal from WF Noe are hiring 100% WFH "leader" positions! That is correct, in spite of all the BS of "better together" and the importance of "face to face in office collaboration" Noe is hiring 100% WFH positions at Truist. You can even be located way across the country in California and be a clueless clown like Hansen!

Just months after forced 3 day RTO last year, now 4 day, Noe began hiring his Wells buddies in Minnesota, California and Pennsylvania. They in turn hired their own Wells pals to WFH 100% from CA, PA, AZ, NY & NH

Those "leaders" who sit at home all across the country get to enforce RTO on the peasants forced to RTO in Charlotte, Atlanta, Orlando, Raleigh, Richmond. How about that for "better together"?

Remember peasants, you can either be the victor or the victim! Embrace the "change" of RTO with 3+ hour commutes, needless bumper to bumper traffic (one of our favorites!) increased parking fees, road rage all to sit on crowded zero privacy sweat shop benches while you are on TEAMS calls with people all over the world not saying a word to the person next to you

With banks & companies forcing RTO on it's employees across the country it is great to know 100% WFH at a bank, even Truist where in office idea sharing and collaboration is required to work at your best, is still an option! You just need to be a pal of lying hyprocrites Ward & Noe

This is such a demotivator! Those who make the rules don't have to follow them.

pretty sure these people are calling out the hypocrisy that AFTER forced RTO last year and the importance of being in office and all the lies, Noe proceeded to hire his friends from Wells to work remote.

Noe could have hired people in any of the TFC offices (Charlotte, Atlanta, Orlando, Richmond, etc) to be in office with the teams they lead. Plenty of top rated talent in all of those cities.

There’s a lot of fully remote jobs yea pretty much all of Wholesale Payments and Business Connect is remote.
There’s a lot of valid critiques about Truist (since it is a garbage bank at this point imo) — but one thing I don’t get is the constant gripe on here about RTO.
Certain departments are remote and a lot of companies do it that way. JPM is actually in-office 5-days/week (got an offer from them, can confirm) and at least TFC isn’t doing that.
But to be mad/envious because some people are remote doesn’t make a ton of sense to me.
It’s like the analogy of not diverting the train to save people trapped on the tracks because some of them already got run over… so need to run over the rest too.
