My manager has been signing me up for more and more work. I don't know what any of that means related to upcoming events but it's certainly misleading.
I want to get 2 years of experience which completes next January and then I'm happy to be out. I have some payout to get at end of 2 years.
They are lying. We had to make our lists almost a month ago. Use this info as you will. But they (we) all know and have know at least for 2 weeks now

Probably up to each notifying manager how they do it. In the U.S. it will mainly be Monday and Tuesday. Some may have already put 1:1s for Monday or Tuesday on the calendar of people they need to notify. Others will likely send an IM during one of those days to whoever they need to notify and say ‘Hey do you have a minute to talk?’
IFS related managers will notify this week. Good luck to all. List was completed some time ago with the manager proposing the list and HR appropriately modifying. Hang in there
My manager claimed that he does not know anything and has not heard anything. He's a first line manager so is that true or he just lying thru his teeth that he knows nothing?
I have a 1:1 Monday and honestly I'm ready. I've worked in IT for over 20 years and just started at Intel in Jan. Never in a million years would I have thought Intel was such a disaster. I've been trying to find an escape route and now hopefully one is in place for me. I do feel very sorry for my coworkers who will be entering this challenging market with only Intel on their resumes. Thinking of everyone who will be impacted.

yes we all know it starts from Oct 15th onwards. but what about specifics? Any instructions or timeline detail given to managers?
who will send the invite? HR or manager?
