Ok, if I have COVID in a light form, then I'm fine to come to the office and spread it over there, right? Maybe, one who gets it from me won't have it in a light way and even dies.. Wonderful!

Before covid ( for many years) I could work from home and just go to office once or twice a month for a team meeting or a sort of gathering and no one cared.
In a 18 people team 2 were just like me. 10 would go everyday, rest would go 3-4 days.
there were no mandate. everything worked well. everyone were happy.
my team could always wfh pre covid if sick or if your child was sick. this is just another way to get us to leave.

No. I won’t do that unless I’m bed ridden. If you want me to spread my cold everywhere I’m happy to come into work and get everyone else sick.
If I take the sick day, there's no fu--ing way I'm turning that notebook on at home.

I did not have to do that pre Covid. I just worked from home when I was feeling sick. Or when I didn’t need to be in office.
Although I do recognize different groups run differently.
