In my experience my good SPS scores have never benefitted me in the IPR session.
And if your scores are down they will hold that against you in IPR sessions even when the ones doing the ranking are in the gutter.
CEO: We need to cut costs.
Accountant: Okay. We paid you $50 million last year. We spent $10 million on your private jet flights and luxury hotel accommodations. For some reason you are being paid $1 million for this 45 minute meeting.
CEO: I see. Who's that in the hallway?
Accountant: That's Greg. He is the only thing keeping this company from falling apart. We pay him in nickels and Grubhub gift cards.
CEO: Fire Greg.

Did anyone really believe SPS was used to bring about any significant change? It’s just dog and pony show. Even ten years ago I knew that.
We had the Q & A for all staff in Canada this week. And it's sad how management tends to normalize change (aka layoffs). It's not normal to go through reorgs every two years.

Shell leadership is bottom-of-the-barrel. Many are a result of Nepotism...
especailly in IT and corporate functions.
Yup. And this organization continues to support “protected groups.” There is one of those on my team that knows how to MILK Shell. In his 17 year “career” he has taken FMLA 5 times, disability 4 times. His last “medical leave” he left the team with 12 un-papered contracts. Anyone else would have been fired. This is who Shell protects. And guess what- he’s in STUSCO.
I used to and continue to pu-e at how rigged SPS is! Shell HR is the crown disgrace department!
Can’t wait to hear Wael’s next town hall. Will we hear some honest reflection or will we hear another one filled with promotional material that could have been a hub article? Perhaps Robin can pitch another Apple product? I hear Apple Intelligence is out…

2024 SPS results should a wake-up call Shell! Things are dire and leadership needs realize survey findings are concerning! These days - it feels like there is no longer any care or respect unless you are in proud boys club (with a bunch of A--holes). It’s unfortunate to see, frequent reorg is now a business as usual and organizational leadership has been on a downward trend for several years! Can’t wait to take the package and join my new employer with a more rewarding role and package!
