Hearing sales managers have a “list” of who to cut and keep Dec. 1 and are asking top performers if they want to stay or be cut. Expecting mass layoffs at year end.

You know what Warren Buffett never said? "Let me see how many people I can fire and still make money." Of course, nobody ever confused Tom Krause with Buffett, or any real leader. He's just a parasite who found a niche to be evil and make money.
that information is incorrect, if we recall during an all hands Tom Krause publicly stated the sole decision for individuals to get booted or not lands on the Directors and Senior Directors down to the managers. The order is put from the top, "give me 5 heads from your department" and then the technicality begins. Tenure, Performance, Stank Ranking 1,2,3, do you swipe, are you near HQ office or remote......all the stupid stuff.
Please share list.
What's the expected layoff date?
Besides sales as the obvious choice, we're expecting layoffs across multiple departments this shouldn't shock anyone. No different than what happened on 1/6/24, if you hold CSG RSUs then you know layoffs are necessary to uphold repurchase value.
It is my list. Reality check though, yes it's the same Q1 start as previous years, notes are reviewed and whole teams will be restructured.
Consulting manager told me to get resume ready and start looking.
I don’t believe this. Managers never really had a choice as to who who would go and who would stay. That was some bean counter somewhere. Also nobody ever had a choice to volunteer to leave. I don’t dispute that layoffs are coming
