Customer Service Appreciation recognition is bullsh-t lip service. Free lunch isn’t adding to your paycheck in this economy. Next week things will go back to normal and you’ll be expected to:
*serve as an emotional support bear for mediocre FCs who need their hands held to pick up the phone and actually talk to their clients
*be the actual branch manager bc yours is a dum--ss that wouldn’t know compliance and how to manage it if it fell on their head
*a punching bag for clients that don’t make Schwab any money but think they should get the world bc they’ve been clients longer than you’ve been alive
*the office manager bc Schwab won’t hire more people to actually take care of the cr-p that falls apart in the branches. Don’t forget to do your quarterly alarm test!
Keep your resume fresh and start applying (if you aren’t already) bc internal mobility at Schwab also su-ks and you’ll never get to leave the branch for something different within the company. Get all the licensing and GET OUT!
