It was announced yesterday that Coram is discontinuing most of its core services and focusing only on specialty dr-gs and enterals. Selling or closing all but 3 of its pharmacies. Impacted colleagues will find out more in November about a possible buyer or be terminated in early 2025

Same thing going on with Optum.
Waves at Corum HQ employees from Biologics HQ right up the road: We need Pharmacists and Pharmacy Techs. No threat of closure and no 3 letter retail sales metrics to meet and no drama like inpatient settings. Small niche formulary with an actual work-life balance. Many positions are hybrid. Come on over where the grass is greener!
Finally clock strikes on this severely mismanaged miserable toxic place! I left 2 years ago right before right before the first round of layoffs, hands down best decision of my life! Good luck with everyone who is affected, go somewhere that will appreciate and people will appreciate, it’s out there, I found it , you can too!
I work for a competitor and I’m not sure there will be much to sell outside of selling the buildings with the hoods. I’m in contact with the liaisons that serviced my territory and they handing off warm transfers to me and praying to onboard with us in the coming months….
Is the exit from all in-home infusions, or only for acute in-home infusions? If I am an IV/IG patient will Coram still provide me an infusion in the home?
other IV providers have been told closure in November 2024......currently Coram no longer accepting no IV home pts and they are now transitioning existing pts to other providers
No one wants to buy this hot mess...
Announced to all sites on the 8th. Email from Lucille A went out to sites, also.
Coram was consolidated in 2022. Half the locations closed.
Are you saying Coram needs a cash infusion?? Sorry....I'll see myself out
This seems to imply a sale to a private equity firm. Any rumors to that effect?
Who and where was this announced? Not surprising as they have already been closing the pharmacies.
