Thread regarding Northwestern Mutual layoffs

cm is back at it and that means mkinsey is back at it.

this time he hired mkinsey to tell him how to run an it org.the last time mkinsey did that apparently was a disaster. so lets do it again.

apparently dg is not very happy about this.few people are. everybody knows this is just a way for cm to ki-l time until he invevitably leaves the place.

Just noticed the McKinsey thread is gone. Guess some people knew too much...

I hope mkinsey was at Revel in Tech taking names of all the losers that can be cut. Those in attendance don't have enough work and are not needed.

There have been quite a few questions lately about DG's USAA-led group regarding their LTIP and other matters. Our group feels like they often embody the "do as I say, not as I do" mentality. Everyone in Dave's group works remotely and seems to travel as if they’re living in luxury. Most interactions are scripted and done over Zoom. On a positive note, Dave finally resolved his AV issues after 18 months.

They might be keeping her for the essence of the fish curry story she narrated in europe. I can almost still smell the fish.

Well worth the money if they tell him to get rid of SR finally.

Having any consultants, much less McKinsey, on board is lighting money on fire. Why do we have all of these VP's, directors, ADs etc if they can't do the job they're hired to do and just bring in consultants who have no accountability? Even worse are the actual McKinsey-ite direct hires who implement stuff that obviously doesn't work yet continually double down on it to avoid taking responsibility for their failures. This place is infected with them. The whole DEI debacle is them - not just here NM, everywhere. Same with the fight against remote work 'better together' bs. All McKinsey companies say the same stuff. 5/9 Verint, them too. And now Lighthouse.

Don’t forget that CM led the effort to acquire LearnVest.
