Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

Fire all seniors and work onsite all 5 days

The poor state of Intel is due to poor performance of all product/site heads and above. They all deserve a sack. The board has to send home to all current senior management. Also working all 5 days in office is very effective for poorly managed company planning to improve its performance. Sacking 15000 people is not the metric here, how many seniors are gone is going to help the growth.

Intel has the same problems as its OEMs: they don't take a lot of risks and they do the same thing year after year after year. They also practically handcuff their OEMs by telling all of them that if they don't design their products according to a specific application, they will fall behind their competitors. It's really a greedy and misleading method to try to maintain their clientele.

You want to know why the hardware industry is so bland? Blame Intel... and now they're paying for it and so will their OEMs.

Now you have Nvidia and Qualcomm stepping up their game. Intel has a catch-22 situation where they either focus on manufacturing or innovation and I'm fairly confident that they're going to go with the former.

Here’s an open secret: CPMs have been decided weeks ago. And yes, a lot of them are high paid senior employees.
