Who’s working in a Florida store that could/would be subject to storm surge. When are they going to close those stores?

Today is too late in hurricane warned areas. Business should have ceased on Sunday after the day of business to give sales people a chance to evacuate where necessary.
Stores closed today. We did not open so that our families could prepare.
