The layoff notifications went out last week. The RI and CT news stories and warm notices are still in relation to the 2,900 layoff. All of these people that are apart of the WARN notice have been identified already. As per the law, they’re given a 60 day heads up. Their last day is sometime in December. They did the same thing last year. So please stop posting that there are more layoffs coming if your source is a recent news article because you’re misinformed.

I have a 1x1 with my manger. She said we will have more laid off next month
They are hiring contractors cheaper to replace full time employees. check LinkedIn posts.
Which departments will be impacted in November?

The timing might be better for some areas. Last year, HR got hit several weeks after the main layoffs, probably because they were in the middle of rolling out Colleague Zone in August.
It's CVS, this whole thing is ran by fear.
- why would they cut more people in November when they literally just cut people? What’s your source…
- even if that is the case, that layoff wouldn’t be part of the recent WARN notice. Those people would get a separation date of January.
I just had a mandatory business update meeting today and was told that they are going to being laying off a decent majority of us and that we will be advised if we are part of the cut mid-november, so with that said, more layoffs are legitimately happening.
