I just hope I can survive next layout so that I can pay my bill and Vest my RSU.
What company priorities? Who care about long term planning when your job is constantly on the chopping board.

The industry was doing great in ‘21-‘22 and the over inventory and high inflation hit us big time. Do you realize how difficult it has been to find another job the past 18mos? It’s an employers market so the TC packages has dropped significantly and the number of applicants has skyrocketed. We got no raises last year and I don’t expect much this year. The stress is building in all of us with the high cost of living. Give me a freakin break when you say why put yourself in this pitiful situation. Given a reasonable option I beat most of us would leave. Just look at our stock price? Market goes up and we are left behind since we are out of favor. Not only do we know it the Market is on to us. Management tries to stir the pot with constant Org changes and with d-mb moves like pursuing Intel just to make an impact. All Sr Management has major golden handcuffs so they won’t leave on their own so we all suffer.
It has been on this path for a long time. Did you just realize? Why haven’t you move to where your work appreciated. It’s not late yet. It’s a day to quit.
No one put ourselves in this sad state of affairs. We all joined QC since the company did have a good reputation. We didn’t expect to be held back by the boat anchor of the mobile business and the waves of jobs moving to India. We over hired and now we are paying the price with the continual pressure to cut costs. This is a death spiral and I need to jump off to a stable environment where my work is appreciated and rewarded.
Why did you put yourself in such a pitiful situation! Never let anyone to control your life/well-being, especially corporations!
