It’s disheartening to see fellow employees petitioning for others to be let go based on unfounded claims about their work ethic and job performance. Just worry about your own performance.

"The governor and I, we were all doing a tour of the library here and talking about the significance of the passage of time, right, the significance of the passage of time. So, when you think about it, there is great significance to the passage of time in terms of what we need to do to lay these wires. What we need to do to create these jobs. And there is such great significance to the passage of time when we think about a day in the life of our children."
Lord of the Flies? Dude, you must be either very old or too well read. Can't have that here.
Lord of the flies vibes lately here
Blame the girls club. Just look at org charts and who’s in them.
Keep in mind that there is legitimacy to a lot of what people are saying. There was and is a lot of backstabbing going on, and everyone is on edge and paranoid. The amount of nepotism and cronyism impacting the last couple of layoffs made my skin crawl. Some managers and directors made shady backdoor deals to try and retain their friends and spouses at the expense of really, really good people. Which means a lot of good people got cut, and a lot of not so good people and some really two-faced managers are still there.
While not every person left is corrupt or lazy, there are enough of those people still hanging around that it's reasonable to be freaked out.
