Thread regarding Optum layoffs

Provider Relationship Specialists - Landmark

This is a position that they're trying to gaslight as this brand-new position, but in April the Provider Engagement Specialist role was already eliminated which seems to have been 100% identical. I've heard of a big Landmark layoff on 10/17 with a 10/31 term date, and even an entire Landmark dismantling at the end of the year.

Does anyone know which of the two the PRS position will fall into?

Landmark NE lost BCBS, is losing most of Tufts patients and HPHC-New Hampshire by end of year. Chances are, HBMC will be defunct within the year as UHC finds no financial value in it, contrary to the value of it that they talk about during company wide meetings. Such fakes, they care nothing about patients.

The PRS was added because someone has to work until the market closes. The Landmark name will not exist in 2025...but will the company even exist? I'm not sure. Other players in value based care are swooping in and getting all of Landmarks contracts. It would not surprise me if the whole organization goes belly up.

I can say with confidence that Landmark Michigan market lost their BCBS contract. I have not heard a date when the market will officially be closing.
