You knew this bank would tank when the new name was announced. Truist is a terrible name. It was the start of many really stupid decisions.

Yes the name sure stinks, can’t argue that. I understood what they were going for with it though. The thing that gets me is why would they try to names themselves like Synchrony or Ally (one-word institutions) if what they really wanted was to be an investment bank like JPM. Pick a lane please!
