State Farm.. how's it going?

For those of you who are still standing, how are things going? I've heard about half of the rebadged are gone now?

Bottom line is that the remaining HCL onshore support has been literally keeping the wheels on the bus. Our teams are cut to the bone right now, anymore cuts and process support WILL crash. Those of us left haven’t received a pay raise or skill adjustment as far as I know. Some have been given retention bonuses though… very few, and pretty hush hush. Grateful to still have the job though. Will see what happens going forward.

Hearing the exit plan is being discussed within state farm leadership. Does not sound like HCL will be sticking around after year 5.

Good news for those who have made it through this mess is that re-rebadging is absolutely on the table but it won't be everybody.

With all of the people involved in the decision gone, there's nobody to blow smoke up leadership's a-s about how this is going. Executives and board are fully aware now and to Farney's credit, he's willing to admit that tippy and co sc--wed up bigly. Infrastructure owning teams never should've been involved, IEOM was built to fail, and none of the stuff HCL sold SF on -- global workforce, highly trained, rapid scaling -- has come to fruition.

2027 will be an interesting year. HCL had planned to make another round of major cuts to rebadge this year but all of that is off the table now. Shame it took SF 3 years to wake up.

@1qsn with areas that support tech that cannot be offshored, I am not sure that can happen.

@3mpq YEAH all of my team memberscame back to SF as claim rep. half quit hafl left let go dueing zhcl round. yeah i am still bitter about this stuff even fter lal these years, what PO me the most is magement block us from going to different department then they give all this talk about how hcl was so wonderful hcl was perfect fit for asF all BS i wonder what package didthey get orfinancial incntive they got. as for hCL foranIT company they su-k at making their internal website working properly. their internal support complete a ticket before even contacting the person that requested it on top of that the ticket just marked complete without any sort of detail how it was fixed but they are hard on you if you dont document your work in detail for external clientscsupport. if you work on their support side. hCL try hard to find a way to make people quit or fire them.

What about starting something on twitter/X. Comment on someones twitter/X stream in the national journalism field. I love this website but there is a limited audience.

With the push for American jobs to remain in America, start making some noise. Make people aware of what is going on, make sure the policy holders know, make sure Trumps administration knows. Let’s see if they will stand by their word!

As one of the few remaining in my area, I can confirm that more cuts are happening in areas we work closely with daily. Supposedly, my area has lost more re-badged people than they planned for so they're not cutting any more of us. I don't believe that, but in any event, with each re-badged person they get rid of, the remaining re-badgers absorb more and more work.

This round, they're even tasking the people who are getting let go with training their offshore replacement and threatening to fire them for cause if they don't. The offshore people are simply not capable of doing the work, yet the managers tell the directors they can absorb it. It is approaching the breaking point and the reality is the engagement is only being held together by those few re-badgers left. It's just a matter of time before one or two of the key analysts leave and it will topple pretty quick.

Last I heard they want the onshore count under 80. It's currently around 400.

Do with that what you wish.

We are going through year 3 cuts right now. Promises made to keep some of us around are all lies. We are hearing up to 1/2 of the remaining onshore people will be cut. HCL management is clueless about how little the offshore people are able to do. This is such a joke of a company.

Going on 3 years with good reviews and no salary increase they recently changed time logging. All time logging is like punching in/out of a time clock. Your movements, keyboard and calendar are all monitored. MICRO MANAGEMENT AND ZERO APPRECIATION.

@1cbss would've been nice but in hindsight, the new CEO basically did exactly that on our behalf, so i can at least smile knowing they both managed to f something up bad enough to catch consequences (AP forced to retire, FA moved into a role he can't hurt prod in)

Two greedy, top heavy companies.

My only regret was not leaving SF sooner. I still remember the day the day we were called to the meeting. Wish all 1000 of us would have told AP and FA to su-k it snd the can figure it out.

I cannot belueve the rebadged prople that went back to SF to work.

I recently heard sf rebadgers Hcl wants to retain received very large bonuses. I suppose this means if you didn’t get one you had better be looking for another job.

This is a very sad. I’m just wondering when the next round of layoffs will happen. HCL does not care out the “rebadged”. Doesn’t matter if you have a mortgage or kids to feed. This is all about their bottom line, money. Thank you State Farm. Your disloyalty is like no other.

I doubt there is 1/3rd of the rebadgers left. HCL still getting by but still very reliant on those left. State Farm broke all moral by doing this. Nobody really cares.
