1 company = company
More than one company = companies

Something that belongs to a company = company’s

Service side has been sc--wed and in terrible shape for years. It seems like every year for the last 15 years it's gotten more and more crazy.
It was always HQ that come up with nonsense and everyone under them didnt way to say how stupid their nonsense was. I often wonder if Ken D is still working for HQ. He's the one that really took lawn and garden from having the market cornered to faltering and finally just becoming a joke.

It's "Sears". Equal to the term "Failure".

To the poster immediately below, dude, use paragraphs or maybe at least, include a TL/DR version. That is an unreadable wall of text.

To the others below, thanks for explaining.

Repair division are the people that go to home to do appliance repairs. What happened yesterday was that 19 managers were let go along with several asset managers & parts pros/specialist.This is because of several reasons. With no stores around most of the work comes from vendors and home service insurance company's.One of the company's withdrew.Managment will tell you they stopped paying. The reason they stopped paying is our inability to maintain the state of service they requested.Meaning we get so much work as long as we reach their customer in a specified time and repair in a specified time, which we were not meeting those times. We were far away from what was expected so they cancelled on us.Ive heard there are at least 2 more company's may also pull the plug. With the loss of income and calls there will be cutbacks, that's the beginning with more to come in the next few weeks. There are many reasons we can't maintain the state of service requested. The HEAD of service has implemented many new systems that are not working. The routing system was updated and uses much new AI technology. However it is not able to dispatch the calls to techs, and they can't figure out why.It cancels, reschedules or just lose calls. The having techs get their parts at UPS stores was a catastrophe, not a great idea and terribly implemented on our part. These 2 factors have been been contributed to many problems. We've started using AMAZON for parts which is a disaster.Wrong parts, defective and of poor quality.Ive heard them referred to as TEMU parts. The fleet of trucks are over 10 yrs old with 200K to 300K miles, and continually break down.A new system of take your vehicle to work has not gone as expected. The amount of money spent each month on fuel and repairs is enormous. The premium for the fleet management company was exorbitant last year and will be higher this year. They now have cameras coming for the trucks which will look foreward but also at rhe driver. This is also coming at a high price and angering the drivers. In many cases the camera in the van will be worth more than the van.We also have shortage of techs and even smaller amounts of qualified techs. The training program consists of sink or swim. The online reviews of our service usually consists of I wish I could give them zero stars. The Lawn & Garden portion of service is coming to an end. Most warranty plans ended this year. The rest of the warrantys will be sent to 3 rd party .The new head of service Mr G is beyond belief. The brain drain of knowledgeable people seems to be complete. There are not many people left who understand this business. The people in charge have no experience and seem to throwing ideas at the wall and seeing what sticks.Mr G who's in charge has been with the company for long time, but I'm not sure in what capacity. He is a military man,and mentions it often. However it does not carry over to running a service industry. He always mentions im the LEADER of HOME SERVICES,but he's no leader.Hes not liked, respected or feared. His business IQ is funny, his dad jokes are not.If ive been long winded I'm sorry.Ive been here for more than a dozen years.Ive watched many a good person been let go to replaced by an inexperienced incompetent replacement.I now know that my time is near,my position will be eliminated soon.I wanted to get as much info as I could before I'm gone.Best of Luck to you that are still here.

Its the people driving the ratted out A&E vans that maybe, maybe not, show up under the guise of repairing a homeowner's appliance but actually don't.

Can someone help me out here? For the uninitiated, what is the repair division, of Sears? Are they the auto centers, which I thought were gone?
