Canon is going to do the same thing as Ricoh
Sell off to dealers and dissolve CSA by July 2025 or not sooner

Moving CFS to Burlington is a distinct possibility. The landlord of the CFS building has made a deal to knock down that building along with two buildings next to it in order to build a large warehouse. There are articles online to back this up. It makes sense when CFS lease is up. They will need a new home and Burlington is probably where they’re going to end up.

My 2cents for PPS, is since Q4 is the busiest time of the year with installations that need to get off the books.......makes no sense to layoff till the week before christmas. That point in december if it's not already installed it won't be recognized in 2024 revenue. With that the executives will make their bonus.
Program managers and local analysts are already complaining and finger pointing at each other since porgram managres are slamming installs way too fast and cutting corners and the field team is left to clean up the mess after the customer can't get production out the door because the presses keep breaking down.
ProSteams are flailing in the wind with missing and damaged parts from the factory and a total mess with the mismanagement of the new ink set.
Management has no choice but to push as many installations as possible out the door till December to make revenue look good, then the ax will fall.

Just my observation.

Burlington is a CUSA owned building they are not shutting it down. But I did also here the probability of moving CFS into Burlington also. I could go into more detail but then I would not be anonymous.

Based on the comments so far we are reaching boiling point which probably means it will be very soon and before the holidays.

I originally thought Tuesday the 8th because it would follow the same pattern as July. Wait a week until the end of the quarter, then do it over Teams on a WFH day. I’m starting to wonder if he will announce the closure of Burlington after his visit or maybe they move CFS into Burlington? Just speculation. The whole situation is shady AF.

There are talks of more cuts coming as early as this month. Probably why HE'S coming to tour Burlington this week. "Make sure you clean your desk" emails sent over and over. Like a clean desk will keep them from laying you off. There's no plan for the restructuring, just cuts, and increased turmoil. Upper management making decisions with no plan to execute, every day things get more chaotic. Now they keep having meetings pretending to share plans but it's just the same vague speech full of new department acronyms Don't think I know anyone not frantically applying for a new job. Get out if you can.

I have a couple of relatives that work at ADP who processes their payroll and I was told there are a lot more terminations happening in smaller amounts to avoid the appearance of a layoff.

My original guess was this Tuesday, October 8th. Something big is about to go down. Executive management has been eerily quiet. Knowing them, they will sc--w employees over before the holiday. Less people they need to order a boxed lunch for the holiday “gift”. Oh thank you so much for half of a Panera sandwich, a tiny bag of chips and a stale chocolate chip cookie! I’m sure the executives will dine at Capital Grille, sip on Chardonnay, and celebrate their increased profitability.
