So insensitive but not against the law? I think the leaders have been slowing cracking due to the pressure and they have lost all empathy toward impacted employee’s, therefore they are making comments to help justify what is happening. Not an excuse but until they to are laid off, they cannot understand how long term employees struggle coping with these decisions.
Howard Shultz said that to an employee who was actively trying to unionize. Union Busting violated labor laws.
