Baltimore City has settled with Walgreens over the pharmacy chain’s role in the opi--d crisis, the mayor’s office announced Thursday.
The mayor’s office said the settlement resolves the city’s claims against the company for its role in fueling the opi--d epidemic in Baltimore.
Per the agreement, Walgreens will pay $45 million by the end of this year and the remainder by the end of next year.
