Why is your process so slow and bad?

Bad interview process is an indication of Google's bad culture and bad management. I have interviewed with Google a couple times and am amazed at the lack of talent recognition. The questions are very shallow and childish. Google needs to grow up.
I am not applying to Google anymore and do not want to work at this extremely arrogant company.
I'll concede that some interviewers are that way, but certainly not me and for many others.
We aren't getting the support we used to.
After company crossed 50% threshold of bad apples, it just self-replicates now.
It's a cult initiation ritual.
It's meant to be artificially taxing to give the sense of 'achievement'.
I am an eng interviewer. I can confirm it is awful, and frustrating for us too. I've had multiple interviewees -- interviewees I rated highly -- pull out of the process after languishing for weeks.
If you recently went through this process, you have my sympathy. I wish I can say I have a plan, or I know someone has a plan. I can't, though.
