This just proves that absolutely no one knows anything. This also proves that that this site is made up of keyboard warriors that have nothing better to do than cause fabricated stories.
If anything, at the very least, is to make YOU quit so that THEY won't get fired or have to job hunt.
No emails have been sent. We can dismiss this posting and discredit Mist Man.
It’s 5:24PM. Get ready and check your inbox.
This weekend will be the calm before the storm. Enjoy it while you can.
I guess this particular thread is the garbage pail of rumors. Not one of you know anything about whats going to happen. None of you!
You're outlook and inside scoop changes daily. How are any of us supposed to take this seriously? Cut back on the ozempic. You're hallucinating!
I swear this thread is becoming more amusing than the old personals section of craigslist.
It is a fact. Will close November. No US approval yet. Read up. Not a rumor.
“Word is now mid-November for close. As to the rest, who knows.” where do you guys hang out in the Juniper campus to be hearing these things?
Mist Man is sounding like Roaring Kitty!
I only rely on what Mist Man says. Let’s hope he can give an update soon.
Word is now mid-November for close. As to the rest, who knows.
Let's review the claims:
- It’s ready to go on the subject date and time (28th)
That's not big news. It's been widely communicated. And Since Oct 30 is the end of HPE's fiscal year, it always made sense to shoot for that date.
- First wave of layoffs at JNPR will be during that week.
There has already been "natural attrition". Whether that's enough we'll see. But the $450M in "synergies" that was announced back in the day roughly translates to 1,500 employees (from both JNPR and HPE), and I seem to recall they said over 2 years or so. Unfortunately, it's nothing we haven't seen before in JNPR - so to a certain degree is business as usual.
- HPE will start moving JNPR revenue into their forecast as of that date.
That's obvious - with the acquisition complete, that is what must happen.
- Several key sales teams will inherit an HPE overlay to assist in the transition.
- Several key HPE people will be placed in senior sales roles to monitor the transition.
That's a normal practice in acquisitions. It allows for autonomy and doesn't disrupt deals in progress until (or if) a more integrated model is put into place. Large companies with complex product portfolios as a rule keep overlays in place.
- The time of Juniper is over. The time of HPE has come.
And according to most analysts out there , that's a very good thing.
I don't know why anyone in mist would know these things but I believe this guy does know and is sharing. Could be QAnon. We'll know soon enough.
Hey Mist Man - if you actually sat down and did your job instead of wasting time on here, you might be able to survive the acquisition.
Why do you even waste your own time spouting bullsh-t when you have no idea what's going on?
Long live HPE. All hail HPE.
