Discover used to have good diversity , work culture. Now its no more ..few toxic managers are treating employees as Slaves and there is no work-life balance. Toxic workplace..many areas payments/cards/bank/cb/dal has this problem now .

I don’t blame Discover managers. I blame certain employees on visas who work as slaves to get promotion, but think about it if the acquisition goes through which discover employee will get promotion?
I agree. From personal experience with toxic managers, there are few, here and there. Regarding a very close case, after different team members reported the aggressions in meetings, this person was laid off. He was an AWS transplant, he lasted a little longer than 6 months after the first incident in DFS.
They hired an incompetent person as a on-site Chicago employee in my team who worked from East Coast. Apparently it seems that he doesn’t need to come to work onsite Chicago location. He got his way that gives an idea how incompetent managers are - They can’t enforce the employment terms he got hired into…..talk about incompetence..
