Hey guys I’m an ex Qualcomm employee thinking to rejoin. To all the people I know I reached out and also applied online. Got zero interview. Is there hiring freeze on all teams?

Ok to go back if it’s a decent position/pay and you have your reasons, but I would plan on it not being more than 2-3 years at best before you get let go. Depends on what you need out of a job right now. Everyone is different. And you can keep looking of course if you come back.

Yes, hiring freeze in high-cost regions. Not for critical positions locally or low-cost regions abroad. Some interns complained not having a chance to switch to full-time roles and felt deceived when compared with their peers.
I have found a few articles regarding companies posting ghost job announcements including this one: "4 in 10 companies say they’ve posted a fake job this year—what that actually means"

In a non stop layoff cycle, most of the jobs listing are a PR stunt. They "open" jobs that they have no intent on filling. It makes them look good. Sure, there are menial jobs available but, most are BS listings. My advice, if you have a job currency stay there. Why come back to the qcom chaos? If they did make an offer, I'm sure if would be a low ball offer in this market.
rejoin qualcomm sounds like an ex returning to an abusive relationship because he couldn't find any success at finding someone new! :D
Just knew one guy was hired last month.
Onsite interview and start same day, BLR.
No, if you are old fa-t you are not gonna get an interview. Are you indian? If not go somewhere else!
