I worked at Boeing many years ago in Philadelphia (Ridley Park). It was a very interesting place to work and most of the people were pretty nice and conscientious. However, what were witnessing now, actually started under Phil Condit's watch. I noticed "certain things" that a "normal" manufacturing/engineering house would have in place as checks and balances as it relates to "every" aspect of the business. I left the company for a better opportunity over 23 years ago, but I stood back during that time and watched Boeing sink deeper and deeper into a truly dis-functional organization. In fact, I was chastised by management for my opinions and assessments that ultimately raised their ugly head. I feel sorry for both the Union and Non-Union workers as Management continues its stupidity and dreadful decision making. I found that most of the managers down there at the time were nothing more than glorified clerks and one trick ponies. Unfortunately, that doesn't get the job done.....Best of Luck!
