I am in fear of these layoffs that are constant. I've invested 30 years of my life to Dell and see my colleagues as my real family. I don't have any life outside work as I'm married to the job. How could Dell get rid of somebody as loyal and invested as me?

Some people only have work. If you are happy, be happy. Probably happier compared to colleagues going home to bad marriages.
Everybody is different. I work very closely with people through the years that I develop a friendship. Family? I don’t know about that. I’ve seen people have terrible relationships with their family. Unfortunately, you are a number with a company but I can see close relationships with colleagues especially if you’ve worked with them for years.

You can totally still keep up with these folks on a LinkedIn. Go to a coffee shop with your laptop and unemployment checks and make friends with the baristas. It's a legit idea, you may find WFR was the best thing ever.
Remember when that guy that got WFR went to the Dell parking lot at the round rock building and blew his head off? You might not because it was swept under the rug asap but seriously bro do not let that be you.
I know a lot of family members that don't even talk to each other so you could be right.
Sadness. If this is real, it's time for you to move on to the next chapter. WFR could be the best thing to ever happen to you. Go live life.
I don't know who posted this. People saying it is trolling might be right. But know people who I could envision posting this and my only reaction is - this is very sad. Work to live, don't live to work. Whoever you are - it's way past time for you to go enjoy your life. Someday on your death bed, you will regret having dedicated your life to a company that was not similarly dedicated to you.
