I guess Boeing wants to k_ll employees with serious medical conditions. I'm so glad I'm only on Wegovy. I just get fat if I stop that script.

As Boeing cuts health care, WA offers options for striking workers

No. No work, no benefits.
Medical thru the state is covered. Unemployment is not.
If you get medical thru the state you'll have to pay the money back if approved bc it only applies to striking workers that are locked out.. We are not locked out... Iam said we need to pay money back or just simply get denied.
I signed up thru the state, I got full coverage even better with cheaper copays for my whole family. Easy deal, they changed the law last June so striking workers qualify. Don't be d-mb.
Of course no... What are you thinking... You want the company you are impacting to pay for your benefits so you can strike longer?
Perhaps the company is really strapped for cash.
My guess is that the next best and final offer will be less than the last offer.
"Pro tip" the union leadership should have put the last offer up for a vote.
Think about it. They proposed the first offer be accepted.
They have no idea what the membership will or will not take!
Their P.R. team will be cleaning this news up for years to come. Does not bode well with the public or the current employees.
That article says Boeing cut Healthcare Insurance for 33,000. Wow a silly move by Boeing. Evil trick but not surprising for them when you look back on all the whistle blower news articles etc.
From what I've been reading the company's no longer funding healthcare for striking workers.
Stay healthy.

Freight waves has article on it.
Some companies play this game but Union members are well prepared for it and go to Union Plus or other sources that cover Union folks. No wise business does this to families as it is a heart break not easily healed.
