Just hired by Aetna a few months ago and don't understand what is going on here by reading all posts related to layoff....Does the layout only happens to Aetna people or CVS people as well? what is the relationship between Aetna, Corp, A&BC, PSS, etc? What does Corp mean? is it a team or all none client-facing roles?

A&BC is a shared service team that supports all of the lines of business (Aetna, PSS, retail etc)
Layoffs are happening everywhere, but the big difference is whether the layoff is about headcount reduction vs upskilling. A large number of folks being laid off are having their roles repurposed. There will be a lot of roles posted in the coming months, which will feel crumby to impacted folks
A&BC = analytics and behavior change… a part of DDAT (digital, data analytics and technology?) that is a shared services org (supports all business units - Aetna, Caremark, retail etc.)

As much as we don’t say it publicly think of CVS as an umbrella housing many different businesses
Aetna is the medical insurance, Caremark is the PBM, retail being retai stores
PSS is pharmacy services segment, this is how we used to do our external reporting which included Caremark and other businesses
A&BC is the analytics team under DDAT(IT). You should be asking this internally of your leaders rather than on this forum IMHO.
As far as layoffs, when they said corp, it can include almost every business. They just said pharmacists and staff that support the 9000 stores are not included (they have enough strife already). The store staff accounts for a substantial portion of our staff and so the 1% is very misleading because if you just include corp 2900 is a large number
Cvs health is the Corp. Aetna is a line of business under Health. Pss is pharmacy services ( Caremark/ PBM). Not sure what you mean by A,B &C, those are parts of Medicare but not directly a part of cvs health
