The plan is to give the workers what they want, then lay off around half the workforce. This will allow Boeing to afford to pay the rest of the IAM. Bringing in outside managers that are competent enough to make everyone work harder and get serious. Pretty good plan, really.

Yeah but Boeing makes for a good retirement home especially with a 30% wage increase. You can just kick back with your homies and play on your phone all day.

You must have seen what was revealed over the past few days as well. You know what I'm talking about. I really dont think anyone has a problem with it, win-win. It's what is needed. The old timers will be bailing and the played off guys will trickle in their place. It's the only way this will work.
