Wholesale lazy layoffs

Want to bet that first people out the door will be the ones we need the most?

Eliminate vendors and contractors. Keep FTE's. Simple.

I was not shocked at all on who was laid off in my department. Last year I was but this year they chose the right ones. Their roles were redundant and they were slackers.

Doubt we will miss many of those gone, we have too much dead weight so this was going to happen with the company losing money.

Why do some people have to be such trolls? People on the end of these layoffs are real humans with hopes and dreams and goals and families. Of the couple of people I've worked with closely who I heard have been let go, I am heartbroken for them and am bummed they’re going through this. Go get your weird troll needs out on Reddit or something.

If the last few weeks has taught me anything, it’s that I’m not nearly d-mb enough to lead in this organization.

I 100% agree. I know people who are absolutely the heart of the team, talented, have gone above and beyond and were discarded like old shoes. This company is imploding. Absolutely heartless leadership who should be axed immediately.

That's what happened to my team last year.

If history repeats, 100% that will be the case
